FIRST, A LITTLE HOT DOG HISTORY...

Over the last 34 years, we've acquired several thousand pieces of hot dog art, collectibles, cookware, memorabilia, promotionals, toys, etc; donated by hundreds of hot dog lovers from all over the world.

And we've tasted hot dogs all across the United States (and elsewhere) in pursuit of excellence in a bun, probably over 1,000 places including hot dog carts, weenie stands, restaurants & factories, etc.

Additionally, there are now almost 1,000 recipes in our files (see a few of our favorites here).

Every July, National Hot Dog Month, we present The Frankie Awards for Hot Dog Excellence (since 1982).

And we are building Lamborweenie, The Hot Dog Hot Rod, featuring show quality chromed and powder-coated VW mechanicals and a fiberglass Porsche roadster (convertible) body.

We publish "The Frankfurter Chronicles" (The Newsletter with Relish). Please email us if you have an interesting hot dog item, article, joke, recipe or story to share.

We also produce an occasional "WeenieGram" for the time sensitive matters.

And we've also spent almost 15 years now working on a book we believe will soon become the definitive work on the subject: "Hot Dogs In A Cold World".
